Basic IV Course
Course Description: This course provides a comprehensive foundation in peripheral intravenous (IV) assessment, insertion, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Participants will gain the skills and confidence to deliver safe, efficient vascular access while minimizing patient discomfort, pain, and anxiety during IV therapy and phlebotomy.
Ideal for clinicians at any stage of practice, this training emphasizes evidence-based techniques and current Infusion Nurses Society (INS) standards, through a blend of blends didactic learning with extensive hands-on practice.
Ultrasound IV Course
Course Description: This advanced course focuses on the fundamentals of ultrasound technology and guidance of peripheral IVs. Participants will learn to integrate real-time ultrasound guidance with best-practice vascular access techniques, reducing pain and anxiety for patients while improving first-stick success and overall care quality.
Ideal for nurses, physicians, paramedics, and other clinicians who place or maintain IVs, this training blends didactic learning with extensive hands-on practice.
PICC & Midline Insertion Course
Course Description: This comprehensive course equips clinicians with the knowledge and practical skills needed for the insertion, care, and discontinuation of Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters (PICC) and Midline catheters. Through a blend of evidence-based instruction and hands on practice (manniquine), participants will learn how to safely and confidently perform vascular access using ultrasound and Modified Seldinger Technique (MST), while adhering to Maximal Sterile Barrier (MSB) precautions. Key topics include patient selection and indications, infection prevention, vascular anatomy, assistive technologies, material selection, and informed consent requirements.
